As an alcoholic in early recovery, it’s been very important to find different ways to reduce levels of stress and to introduce new ways to relax. Having started Indra’s breathing and relaxation class I’ve been amazed at the positive effect it is having on my day and my sleeping patterns. I never knew how to breathe properly (I thought I did but I didn’t!) and just that element has made a radical difference in my ability to step back, relax and move forward. Indra’s introducing more challenging and really enjoyable aspects to the class and her easy approach and introduction of these is so seamless; It’s lovely to feel you are learning something new and moving on week by week. What a lovely way to start my week on a Monday morning and I’m certain that anyone with any form of addiction would find this useful, beneficial and really enjoyable.

Thanks to the wonderful Indra Singh and the powers of yoga, I have once more a flexible pelvis.
Bring it on, an evening of shaking my a– with careless abandon!!! :D
Thank you for another wonderful class Indra x

- Rachel Surtees

She is an exceptionally talented teacher, takes the time to explain everything well and makes it lot of fun and interesting too.
Also took part in workshops with several big names there (which I won’t name here lol), can easily say Indra Singh was by far one of the best teachers there.
Very refreshing approach to Yoga, great practitioner, and clearly very knowledgable, seems very down to earth too – more people need to hear about her!

“Indra does whatever she needs to do with passion and energy and this is infectious.
Her classes follow a set pattern but no two classes are the same.
She has shown and made me understand what yoga means and what it is about – not just a series of asanas but the spiritual, emotional and physical aspects too.
I can sing nothing but praise for Indra- her passion for all things Yoga but also her formidable knowledge and experience and where relevant its application in the “real world”

- Alamgir Ahmed

“Indra Singh inspires me because; she is stunningly beautiful, not just in body but in SOUL. Her photos inspire me and thanks to Indra’s website I have (finally) got back on my mat after a long break. Oh and I love the purple she wears in her piccys on the ancient stones x”

- Heather Davies

“I have been attending the relaxation / Yoga group with Indra for the past few months and have found it to be highly beneficial. It is a haven of calm and a great start to my day. As a sufferer of depression and anxiety, I find the breathing techniques we learn very helpful and I always feel very relaxed and calm after the group. Indra has a lovely energy and I feel completely at ease with her.”

“Thank you so very much for letting me observe your class last night – I was so entranced I wrote very little and just joined in…”

All that a child gains or suffers comes from how the mother speaks to him or her.
Always speak angelically to the child.
Out of that is born the divinity, the dignity, the grace, the future, the destiny, the fate, the luck and the prosperity of the child.
If you do not recognize your own child as an angel, you’ll never recognize your child.
If you never recognize the angel, you’ll never recognize the God.

Indra is a long time student of Sonia Sumar in the disciplic succession of Swami Satchidananda’s Integral Yoga.
Recently Indra has returned to her ancestral roots studying Kundalini Yoga in the Sikh tradition of Yogi Bhajan.
Indra is a living example of the many disciplines of Yoga.
Her exceptional practice extends beyond the mat to the art of raising children.

Indra is at home practicing many of the traditional practices of Yoga including, Japa and Kirtan, and has mastered many of the Asanas and meditative techniques of traditional Hatha Yoga.
Indra’s broad traditional background gives her a unique perspective on the ancient science of yoga.
She is uniquely qualified to teach a broad range of practices from Vedanta to Tantra and is a rare jewel in the too often commercialised age of modern Yoga.

“Indra has an in-depth knowledge of Kundalini Yoga and all the associated aspect’s surrounding the subject.

The classes are organised with respect and admiration for Yogi Bhajan but also with a sense of humour and love for life with all its ups and downs that a spiritual journey and practice may take you on.

The blend of Kriya’s, meditations, chants and relaxations make each weekly session enjoyable, different and educational.

A weekly haven for anyone interested in yoga”

- Steve Darley

Indra also has an interest in colour.
She trained with ‘aura soma’ school of colour therapy to gain a clear understanding about how colour truly effects our lives.
Indra works with colour throughout her yoga sessions in meditation and relaxation to help enhance their positive effects.

“I teach all levels introducing the benefits and importance of all components that make the practice ‘whole’ including breathing techniques, chanting, asana practice, kriyas, deep relaxation and meditation.
Often chakra focus is included which gives students a true focus”

“Sound is a major part of Kundalini yoga and it’s affects on the body are astounding. During weekly class and monthly sadhana chanting is part of practice.
Yoga is not just a weekly class but a personal journey that should be embraced during each individual’s life.
May this introduction bring great benefits, joy and happiness to your life and may the teachings of Kundalini yoga as taught by Yogi Bhajan be cherished deep within your soul as they have been within mine.”
